EuroOffice Barcode/QRCode

Using EuroOffice Barcode/QRCode Professional, you can easily produce the most popular machine scannable barcodes in the EuroOffice (or in the application LibreOffice) Spreadsheet and Draw documents. EuroOffice Barcode/QRCode developed by MultiRáció Ltd. (Budapest, Hungary), will prove useful if you need to produce one or two dimensional barcodes.

The EuroOffice Barcode extension enables you to make the following kind of barcodes:

• EAN-13,
• ISBN-13,
• ISBN-13 from ISBN-10,
• UPC-A,
• JAN, EAN-8,
• UPC-E,
• Standard 2 of 5 (Code 25),
• Interleaved 2 of 5 (ITF 25),
• and Code 128.

You may insert any of the above barcodes in Calc or Draw. (Both applications will have an extra menuitem in the menu "Insert..")

If you want to produce barcodes in Calc then the dialog will allow entering the target column where the barcodes will be inserted in and you decide if the row height and width should adjust to the size of the barcodes. Enter the code in an arbitrary column, row by row and, after selecting, the ready barcodes will be inserted in the correct place, also row by row.

The value for barcodes, apart from some exceptions, must be of fixed length and it has to consist of digits. Code 128 allows alphanumerical strings of arbitrary length. Besides Standard 2 of 5 (Code 25) allows a series of digits with any length. All the other type of codes are valid only for fixed length strings, consisting of digits only. Entering illegal format values results in a pop-up dialog, you can proceed by clicking on "OK" or abort generating barcodes by clicking on "Cancel".

The EuroOffice QR feature works only in Draw. Click on menu Insert/Insert QR code. You may choose among these options:

• Text,
• Numbers,
• SMS message,
• Phone number,
• URL,
• and 8 bit value.

You may enter the data to be encoded in the upper half of the dialog box. Space or any special characters are illegal. You must specify the QR code version number. This can be automatic or it can be specified as an integer between 1 and 40. Enter the mask pattern, which modifies the data bits, and the size of the QR code and the error correction level.
