Changes over 1.0.0:

  • On some Linux machines, MySQL Connector/OOo 1.0.0 was not able to connect to a server running on localhost. This has been fixed, for a number of cases, in the 1.0.1 release.

  • On some Mac machines, MySQL Connector/OOo 1.0.0 could not be loaded by OpenOffice.org. This has been fixed in the 1.0.1 release.

Known Issue

  • Cannot access non-intranet servers via IP

    On some machine setups, the MySQL Connector/OOo is not able to connect to a MySQL server outside the local area network, while other connectors, like MySQL Connector/J, work fine.
