Doesn't download from Chrome. Firefox without a problem.

Please help.
The Impress video converter extension is not downloading. Is there another way to convert animation slideshows with sound to a video?
Or can someone please share this extension with me.

I just download the extension with no problem encountered.

Hi, it would be wonderful if this extension worked in Libreoffice Impress 6.3.1.
Impress can't load it giving this warning: "The 'Impress video converter' extension is not supported on your computer."
Thanks for your effort hoping you solve this bug soon...

Use OpenOffice instead of derivatives :-)

Is there any way to use this in command line on linus (CentOS)
like soffice -headless ......................

or something like
/opt/openoffice4/program/python /opt/openoffice4/program/DocumentConverter.py "presentation.odp" "presentation.mp4"

after running the soffice on localhost like

/opt/openoffice4/program/soffice "-accept=socket,host=localhost,port=2002;urp;StarOffice.ServiceManager" -norestore -nofirststartwizard -nologo -headless &

I added to slide 1 a sound file and set to each slide an individual time-settings.
Unfortunately both are ignored.
The avi is silent and ends too soon and might be not synchron to the sound.

But you can use specific tool to build AVI and sound like Windows Movie Maker.

The cornerstone of every presentation are the animations and effects. The presentations are a marketing tool, because that we need special efects to make it more atractive and deliver a powerfull message.
Botton line no animations means no presentation. Not sure if a parcial implementation of a video converter has some value. I hope some day you can finish it. Good luck and thanks.

Sorry for my bad English, I'm spanish speaker and Google Translate is my friend! :-)

For those who may be interested:

The extension is compatible with any LibreOffice IN GNU/LINUX, but not in Windows.

Thank you.

and so present only on the OpenOffice extension repository

If you have a space in the file name or in the path the extension will not save the file.

With 1.2

Using OO 4.1.3 the extension says the avi file has been created successfully, but there is no file generated. Windows 10 home.

Doesn't work on Windows 10 - it cannot find ffmpeg even when ffmpeg works from the command line.
FFMPEG is installed in the root of C:, path variables are set.
Basic debugger comes up and says it cannot find a file, digging through code it seems to be looking for ffmpeg.

Sorry, but I was not able to reproduce. It works with no problem.
