This AddOn will work only if you have installed additional XSLT filters, you may install those filters by installing one of Optional Components from OO.org called Sample XSLT filters
Simple AddOn for converting OpenOffice.org documents to EPUB format.
This is alpha version, it will work only with Writer documents, no chapters supported, whole document will be one big chapter.

This converter produces the best (most accurately) formatted epub (from Writer) document of all of the converters that I have seen, save for all of the things that are not implemented (e.g., page breaks, etc.).
If you could keep what you have and add the functionality of Alkinea (soft.alkinea.net), I believe that you would have the best ODT to EPUB converter for Kindle that there is. (Please let me know if you do that or if you want help getting there.)

Hi, I tried your extension with "AOO 4.0.1 RC3 – German UI / German locale [Rev. 1524958 2013-09-20 11:40:29]" on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit)", “historic” 4.0 User Profile used for all predecessor versions. It creates the .epub, but unfortunately AOO crashes always when I close the createer dialog (where I select path and add document info like ID, ...
