Hey there,
it is not possible to install this extension in LibreOffice 4.x in a Windows 8 64 bit environment. LibreOffice reports "an error occurred during file opening". The file I downloaded isn't corrupt, it works an another Windows XP machine.
Will this be fixed? I would appreciate it!

I figured out that the installation failure is based on Windows 8. I installed LibreOffice 4 on a Windows XP machine and I was able to install the extension.
Summary: LibreOffice 4 OxygenOffice Extra Gallery Windows 8 => not working
When I installed this addon and tried to move the photos the folder was empty. All that was even close was the .tmp folder with the addon folder inside. THAT folder was empty. Any ideas?
Open office does not appear in my application data folder, everything else like mozilla and microsoft etc..is there. I downloaded this for the picture gallery and got nothing in the auto open gallery folder and cannot find the described open office folder in the application data folder. Any way to help me? Tried the search function without luck.

I installed this add on and the gallery is exactly the same even after quitting and re-opening Openoffice. Any Ideas?
I have tried many times to download this extension, it starts well, but always stops at 4,5 MB or 5,4 MB. Could you fix this problem?

None of the Photos in this extension work. I looked in appdata and they just are not there! Other than that, this extension is awesome!

Why is it that on OO 3.1.1 most of the clipart is shifted way to the left when I insert them into a Writer document?
Some clipart don't even show up when inserting them. They used to work prior to 3.x if I remember correctly.
This is with this Gallery extension. Perhaps not fully compatible?

I've installed it successfully, closed OO completely, reopened it, and OO Impress looks exactly the same. I was under the impression there'd be more templates somwhere, but the "Master Pages" and the options for creating a new presentation are exactly the same. Under File > Templates, the number of templates available is the same. Does it have to be activated in some way? Or are they in another place?

If you downloaded Gallery it has effect only on gallery. It adds more insertable cliparts to Gallery part of OOo. If you want more templates please download Templates pack for your language from here:

I downloaded the extension and tried to install.
There where no error messages, but the gallery was empty as before.
That happend on several computers in a class-room -
I have no idea why it worked on several computers and not on the others.

Did you try to restart OOo fully (exit all app and also from quickstarter)? What version og OOo do you have? Are you using original OOo or its derivate?

Hi,
I have translated this extensionin in Italian (which means, I have translated only image categories). How can I cooperate with you in order to provide an updated Italian version of the gallery? Do you think it is a good idea to provide localized versions?
I am going to deploy this gallery, along with openoffice and other extensions, to several hundreds of clients in my workplace (composed mainly by italian-only speakers).

Thank you for your great offer. Currently we have Italian translator, but you can update our translations if you want. Sadly OpenOffice.org does not support to translate theme names in extension. Of course our OpenOffice.org derivate called OxygenOffice.org contains all translations internally for example for your beautiful language. I would like to ask you to help extend our support for Italian language with the update of translation, more Italian templates, etc.. Hi!
It is a good idea but currently OxygenOffice and OpenOffice.org do not support SVG files. I do not want to include it as PNG files. There is an ongoing enhancement where some developers improve SVG import filter I will check the current status and I will notify you about the progression.
