The Vertex42™ Savings Calculator is a simple spreadsheet that helps you estimate your future savings based on your initial investment, expected annual interest rate, and optional periodic deposits.
You can enter extra annual deposits in the yearly summary table to see how making one or two extra deposits early on can affect your future savings. The table contains a column for the interest rate that you can modify (overwriting the cell reference) to see the effect of a variable interest rate. The graph shows the balance and the cumulative amount invested over time.
