Convert HEX(4-digit hexadecimal number) to Unicode in OOo Writer by Alt X. Just install this package (restart not required), type 4-digit hexadecimal number (0-9 and a-f), and press Alt X. For example, 0463 results in ѣ. This is the same function as in Compose Special Characters (called Unicode shortcut), but a lighter version, in OOo Basic, and the shortcut (Alt X) is not customizable here.
