If you are using open office and regularly adding words to the custom dictionary, you can help us improve the words database. Your words are added to custom dictionaries stored as text files. These text files are stored in "standard.dic" file found under "wordbook" directory usually located...
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\LibreOffice\3\user\wordbook
The path will change depending upon your OS version. The folder is located in the same folder as AutoCorrect entries folder and it can be found using Tools - Options - LibreOffice - Paths. You may need to unhide the folders by using Tools - Folder Options - view tab - "how hidden files and folders" if the folder is not visible.
Once you send us (shantanu.oak@gmail.com) the words list (standard.dic and other files if any) we will add them to the dictionary so that it will be beneficial to all users. This will also help you to take the backup of your custom words list.
The extension works only with the latest open office (or any libre office) version.
This dictionary includes the hyphenation rules. More info is available here...

In order to use the Marathi Hyphenation extension, select the text and ..
Format - Paragraph - Text Flow - Hyphenation - Automatically
The same wordlist is also available for Firefox:

Auto-correct extension
It is highly recommended that you also download and install the auto-correct list from...
http://extensions.services.openoffice.org/en/project/AutocorrectMarathi
This will automatically change the wrong spellings like "चीकाटीने" with the correct one "चिकाटीने".
a) Double click on the file that you have downloaded in order to install it. Restart Writer.
b) Writer does not automatically understand the current language. You need to tell the software that the text is in "Marathi" language.
1. Choose Tools - Options. Go to Language Settings - Languages.
2. Select the check box "Enabled for complex text layout (CTL)
3. Under Default languages for documents, select Marathi in CTL drop down menu. If you mark "For the current document only", your choice will only apply to the current document. Close the dialog with OK.
c) Now you can see red underlines and choose the correct word that appears on right click.
The word list does not seem to have enough words. Can you create an extension with the Marathi words found on this link?

I have written a version that includes auto correct entries along with spell check dic and hyphenation.
Please update this version.
