Your South African English spell checking dictionary allows you to use place names, borrowed words and expressions that are uniquely South African.
You'll be using words like braai, wors and lekgotla without annoying red squiggles. Use familiar brand names like 5fm, Woolworths and Shoprite. No more eina, just a lekker spell checker.
Translate.org.za has produced this checker so that you can enjoy OpenOffice.org with a South African flavour. You can also install spell checker extensions for all the other official South African languages. If you find any missing words then please send them through to us so that we can keep the South African spell checker up-to-date.
