Compatible with OpenOffice 4.x?

Creates a CSV file from data in any area of the spreadsheet. After installation, a new toolbar called CSV and a new sub-menu will be available in the "Tools → Add-ons" menu. This file is intended only for Apache OpenOffice ver. 4.x+. The version for LibreOffice and the "clean" module library are available on the project website: https://yestok.pl/var/makecsv.php. A Google translator is available on this page.

The Mekecsv macro generates a csv file from any of the areas indicated in the spreadsheet. It is possible to obtain two types of file. The first type is a traditional record layout, in which each row of the area is also a row in the csv file. The second type of file is based on the assumption that the selected area contains a header row and a description column. The entries in the csv file are elements of this area preceded by the contents of the corresponding item of heading and the corresponding item in the description column.

Comments

By default, rows and columns fields are set to 1. For a next release, it will be fine to detect automatically the range to export.
