List of autocorrect entries for the Marathi language.
It supports common typing errors and also provides the user with immediate corrections of words like wrong "ध्द" to the correct "द्ध". For e.g. if you type "कटिबध्द" in Open office writer, it will change to "कटिबद्ध"
Download the file acor_mr-IN.dat and save it in the following location.
C:\Documents and Settings\UserName?\Application Data\OpenOffice.org\3\user\autocorr
or in the folder: C:\Program Files\OpenOffice.org 3\Basis\share\autocorr
If the folder is not visible, try ... Tools - Folder Options - View - Show hidden files and folders
The location for Linux OS is /Home/User Name/.openoffice.org/3/user/autocorr
Make sure that open office detect the language as "Marathi" on the status bar. If it doesn't then...
Tools - Options - Language settings - Languages - Enable for Complex Text should be checked and CTL should be Marathi
Now you can use any IME for e.g. Baraha and type the word चीकाटीने if it changes to चिकाटीने then the software is installed correctly.
Libre Office users:
copy the file acor_mr-IN.dat to the relevant folder (C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\LibreOffice\3\user\autocorr) manually.
Goto Tools - Options - Libreoffice - paths to know the exact location of auto correct directory.
An installer would be great :)
It is highly recommended that you should also have the Marathi Spell-check extension installed that can be found here...
