The eLAIX-Extension for OpenOffice.org Writer allows you to save your new or existing documents as ready to go ILIAS learning modules. Once imported in ILIAS, an eLAIX learning module can be edited like any other ILIAS learning module. New in Version 4: The export as an ebook, following the ePUB 3 standard.
Even if you do not intend to generate ILIAS learning modules or ebooks, eLAIX helps you in creating well formed text processing documents by offering 35 toolbar buttons. Easily structure your document, set links to chapter, footnotes, use predefined paragraph styles and arrange graphics in an optimized manner.
Note: You can download a Quick Guide as a Writer file, that demonstrates the possibilities of eLAIX. The document also serves as a template for your own ebooks or ILIAS learning modules.
