Create with the Oracle Report Builder stylish, smart-looking database reports. The flexible report editor can define group and page headers as well as group and page footers and even calculation fields are available to accomplish complex database reports.
Along with the flexible database client of Oracle Open Office it is possible to create database reports from HSQL, Oracle, or almost any other database type.
The Oracle Report Builder uses the Pentaho Reporting Flow Engine of Pentaho BI.
The source code for this extension was transferred to the Apache OpenOffice project in 2011. If you are interested in volunteering to develop this extension, please contact the Apache OpenOffice mailing list: ooo-dev at incubator.apache.org

Hi,
Under Vista (and Ubuntu 8.10) and with OOo 3 (in french version), when you close a report by cliquing the "x", you quit the application too. So the application crashes.
Under Vista, I have to close by the menu to avoid this bug.
Under Ubuntu 8.10, this bug existes when you close by this 2 ways (the "x" or the menu).

In OpenOffice 2.4 I have created a report using Sun Report Builder version 1.0.2. This report uses parameters. When I run this report in 3.0 using extension version 1.0.5, the report produces no output and the parameters are not asked for. Is this a bug?

Hello,
I have OpenOffice.org 3.0 and Java Run Time 6 Update 10.
I downloaded Sun Report Builder 1.0.5.
But I can't install it with message:
"Could not create Java implementation loader"
What should I do?

Downgrade your version of Java Run Time 6 to Update 7.
Is there any way to avoid downgrade ? I need Jdk 1.6.0 upd 13.

The new 1.0.5 version comes with a great Chart feature, but it's use is not completely straightforward. Is it any documentation about it or any sample file ?

I've been trying to download and install Sun Report Builder 1.0.4. I get the following error message:
(com.sun.star.registry.CannotRegisterImplementationException) {{Message="",Context=com.sun.star.uno.XInterface) @0}}
I can successfully install versions 1.0.2 and 1.0.3. I've downloaded the extension afresh, closed the program and reopened it, and rebooted the computer, all to no avail.
I'm running Ooo 2.4.1 on Windows XP SP3.
Help would be appreciated.

Great extension, but not possible change page format from A4 to other. Page settings is disabled.
