Read Text 0.7.28 works better with non-English versions of the Windows 8 Consumer Preview.

  • If the default voice setting of the user is not an English voice, the "(SELECTION_LANGUAGE_CODE)" will default to an American English voice if the selection is an English voice.
  • Windows 8 includes a United Kingdom English voice. To hear it, set the language locale of the selected text to English (United Kingdom) and use "(SELECTION_LANGUAGE_COUNTRY_CODE)" in the command line options tag.
