i installed this extesnion on my X-OpenOffice 3.0.1 ( http://www.winpenpack.com/main/download.php?view.1035 )

but it crashes any time i try to use it.

i downloaded the new o.o.6 release but the extension still crashes on my OOo 3.0.1

OOo 3.0 on Kubuntu Intrepid, Sun Java 1.6.0_10: the extension works ok.
Is there any possibility to use the extension to change config values?

it is not a big problem for single values, the code is already there but it's just commented out. when i was testing this extension modifying config values seemed to work but the changes sometimes didn't show up in OOs's config dialog.
i didn't write code to handle list/array config values yet. the source code is freely available - anybody willing to pick it up?:)

is there anybody between the 803 who downlaoded this extension, that was able to make it work?

all the people i know that installed it had crash reports

i friend of mine told this extension crashes his OOo 3.0 on Vista 32 bit.

we already got 3 crash reports with different OOo versions and different OS.

there must b something wrong with the code.

i've developed this extension with OOo 2.4 and win xp where it's working fine. i'll test it with version 3 but i don't have any vista machine for testing.
besides, i'm not aware of doing anything wrong in my code, just calling public APIs...

Could this be used to transfer settings from one comp to another? I have no idea how to do it the other way. And that would be the most useful usage of this.
It works with OO3.1 on XPSP3, but crashes with OO3.1 VistaSP1 32bit, latest JRE.
It should be easy to run Vista as a VM :)

Use of this extension causes OOo 3.0 (Windows XP SP3) to crash.

When I click on Configuration... in the menu Options, OOo crashes. No error message.
My configuration: Vista 64 bits, OOo 3.0 (french version), Java 6 update 11

up

this extension makes my OOo crash.

my config is:
OpenOffice 2.4.2
O/S: Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 64 bit
